Fortnite - What Do Tournament Pins Do? [Complete Explanation]

In this video, I will explain what those shiny pins do for you! Epic Games has not come forth with a straightforward answer. However, I believe that the answer is not as hidden as it seems.
Fortnite Tournament Pins:
1. Allow you to Play Higher Level Tournaments (Higher Ranking)
Essentially, there will most likely be tournaments in the future with Pin requirements. i.e. "You must have 5 pins to play"
2. Allow you to Earn Greater Prizes and Seek Greater Awards. These pins could be redeemable currency in the future!
How to Earn:
You have to earn 20 points to receive a pin. Each tournament is different but most of the time you get points based on elimination, top finishes, and victory royales!
Problems with Fortnite Tournaments:
1. Server Overload
2. Tons of Lag
3. Bad Connection
